The National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) in a bid to ensure compliance and enhance market transparency in the pensions sector, has published a list of employers who have enrolled under the Mandatory 2nd Tier Occupational Pension Scheme on its website (www.npra.gov.gh).

Employers have been captured under two separate lists on the website, Thus:-

  • Employer Sponsored Scheme
  • Master Trust Scheme.


In total 76 employers have registered under ‘Employer Sponsored Schemes’ and 11,196 under ‘Master Trust Schemes’.

Employers, Employees and the general public are advised to visit the NPRA’s website to download the appropriate list. Employers who wish to update their information may do so and submit through the email provided (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).


The Authority wishes to remind Workers, Employers and the general public that an employer who fails to enrol under the Mandatory 2nd Tier Occupational Pension Scheme commits an offence under the National Pensions Act, 2008 (Act 766) and is liable on summary conviction to a fine or
to a term of imprisonment or both.

Workers are also encouraged to assist the Authority with information on recalcitrant employers to enable NPRA secure their future lump sum and their Retirement Income Security.
