Mr. Bernard Adjei is a Chartered Management Consultant and Chartered Professional Administrator with over eighteen (18) years of experience in industrial relations, organisational development, and public administration. He has a strong interest in workers’ rights, sustainable development, and alternative dispute resolution.

He is currently the General Secretary of the Public Services Workers’ Union of the Trades Union Congress (Ghana) and serves as a Member of the Governing Board of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority.

Mr. Adjei has represented organised labour at both national and international levels, including on the Public Services Joint Standing Negotiating Committee and the Technical Sub-Committee of the National Tripartite Committee, contributing to labour, compensation, and social security policy development. He is also actively involved in regional and global labour advocacy through organisations such as Building and Woodworkers International (BWI) and Public Services International (PSI).

As a public sector advisor, he has worked with and advised numerous public sector institutions and Ministries, with expertise in labour relations, collective bargaining, conflict resolution, social dialogue, and public policy. His work emphasises institutional accountability, governance reform, and sustainable social protection outcomes.

Mr. Adjei holds a Professional Executive Master’s in Alternative Dispute Resolution, an Executive Master’s in Public Administration, and a Master of Arts in Labour Policies and Globalisation. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cape Coast. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants and the Ghana National Association of ADR Practitioners.
