Mr. Akature Ania

Mr. Akature Ania is a Human Resources management professional with over two decades of experience in both the Public and Private sectors of Ghana. He has extensive experience and skills in Human Resources strategy, policy development and implementation, performance and talent management, compensation and benefits management, learning and development, and industrial relations, among others.

He holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Ghana, Legon.                                                                     

Mr. Akature worked with Accra Brewery Limited & Voltic between 2004 and 2018 rising through the ranks to become the Director of Human Resources. He also worked with the Wildlife Division of the Forestry Commission as a Human Resource Manager and as a Personnel and Administration Manager at Ghana Aluminum Products Ltd. 

Before joining the National Pensions Regulatory (NPRA) he was the General Manager for Human Resources & Administration at the Dangote Cement Ghana Limited.

At Accra Brewery Limited & Voltic Ltd., Mr. Akature successfully implemented several changes that impacted the performance and the success of the Company.  During his time at Dangote Cement Ghana Limited, he successfully resolved a long-standing Labour dispute between the company and UNICOF at the Labour Commission. He was also an Assistant Registrar at the University of Ghana Medical School between 1997 and 2011.                

He joins the pensions regulator with immense experience and skill in Human Resource Management and industrial relations.
